The founder of the company is Karen E. Pfeffer, who came to the U.S. from Venezuela at age 15. Her unique cultural mix, with a father from Kansas and a mother from Puerto Rico, have inspired her to challenge stereotypes and “push the envelope” at every opportunity. She became the first female president of the Bank Marketing Association of South Florida in 1992. Her guiding philosophy: “Expectancy Determines Outcome.”
